Glossary Term
Chibi
Chibi means “small” in Japanese, but in anime terms, it’s the art of making characters teeny-tiny and ridiculously adorable. Think oversized heads, stubby limbs, and maxed-out kawaii energy. Often used for comedic scenes, merch, or spin-offs where plot takes a backseat to vibes. If you’ve seen your favorite waifu turned into a bean with eyes, that’s chibi magic. Warning: may cause uncontrollable squealing.
