Desu
Desu (です) is a polite sentence-ending particle in Japanese—kinda like saying “is” or “it is.” Super common in everyday speech, but anime fans turned it into a meme. Thanks to characters like Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden, who ended every line with an extra dramatic “DESU~,” it became a weeb catchphrase. Used by fans to sound kawaii, polite, or just to annoy their friends. Desu.
